Currently serving as strategic and functional planner to expand client’s service offerings.

  • As a consultant to Devenney Group, I provide strategic planning services to augment a skillset missing from their staff.  This includes right-sizing proposed expansion based on utilization and growth projections. I am also providing simulation modeling for healthcare applications. 
  • As a consultant to HMC Architects I am the lead programmer and planner for a 1.4 million square foot hospital in China that is being built to comply with Joint Commission standards and the International Building Code.

As a Principal/Senior Healthcare Planner I fulfill multiple roles on a project.  In addition to strategic planning, long-range master planning and functional planning within large healthcare organizations or academic medical centers my role often expanded to the following:

  • Strategic healthcare services such as service line analysis, operational performance improvement though workflow analysis, workload utilization and forecasting, and medical equipment planning​
  • Programming, planning and design of complex OSHPD 1 inpatient facilities and OSHPD 3 compliant outpatient clinic programs and medical office facilities
  • Facilitate,​ guide and coordinate multiple groups of program stakeholders for the purposes of reviewing strategic priorities, programming, planning and design of both inpatient and outpatient clinic services and medical office facilities
  • Provide experienced, knowledgeable and creative architectural and interior design solutions
  • Apply expansive knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations, policies,​ procedures and standards pertaining to healthcare facilities
